LIISA is dedicated to empowering the immigrant community on Long Island. We advocate for higher education for all students regardless of their immigration status. We believe that we must create a safe and welcoming environment that respects and values all immigrants. We work to bring resources to immigrant youth to continue a higher education. We organize to give youth, educators and our community a sense of political, civic and social engagement to create future leaders.
