Supporting The New York DREAM Act

The New York State Dream Act was first introduced by State Senator Perkins in 2011. It is the most important piece of legislation introduced for undocumented students residing within NYS. If passed, the bill would allow undocumented students who meet the requirements to access state loans and grants through the Tuition Assistant Program (TAP). It would also allow students to open 529 tuition savings accounts, and establish a DREAM Fund for all immigrant students in NYS.
